A opened my mailbox to an 11 year old blessing today. As a current Compassion International sponsor I discovered recently that I can meet another need for Compassion sponsored children as a Compassion correspondent. There are times when individuals sponsor children and although they are committed to the financial aspect of sponsorship they are not willing or able to correspond with the child. This is where I can make a difference. Little Jojo M J’s packet arrived today and I have been assigned as his correspondent. I will have the opportunity to assist in the personal development of Jojo through my letters, pictures and cards. Jojo is from India and is at the Passupara Child Development Center. Jojo is 11 years old and enjoys singing, art and playing ball. I noted that Sebin and Jojo are at different projects in India but I think they might both reside close to Cochin. I am very excited to start making even a small difference in Jojo’s life. These children of God are such a blessing!
