We were excited last night to receive a new letter from Astrid. She has a birthday coming up soon so I made sure to log on and included a small monetary gift for her birthday in July. It is neat because in this letter she asks about Raisin. I think the love for animals is universal for kids. I have sent both of our sponsor children pictures of our family including our dogs. I also wrote to both girls this morning and hope to pick up some cards to send once I am over this bronchitis. Being sick makes it a good time to catch up on correspondence when I am not coughing or sleeping!
