Henry was the first child we sponsored in June 2004. Henry was from Ecuador and his birthday was the same as Alex's, August 26, 1994. We were able to sponsor Henry until he departed from the program in August 2005. After talking to a customer service representative we discovered if transportation is a problem that parents will some times remove their child from their Compassion program. Naturally we were sad to see him leave the La Buena Semilla Project. The departure letter did share with us that through our sponsorship he received meals, gifts and medicine in addition to learning about Jesus. Below is one of Henry's letter's before he left the program.
